Obsidian Parlour isn’t your typical nail salon. We’re Wagga’s first and only space completely owned and run by independent nail techs. What started as a one-tech home studio has grown into a thriving three-tech commercial salon in under 12 months, building a reputation as the Riverina’s go-to hub for alternative nails.

We’re proud to be finalists in the Golden Crow Awards for Excellence in Business Ethics, and our team also competes in international nail art competitions, bringing trend-setting and award-worthy creativity straight back to our community.

Hey! I’m Taryn, the face behind Obsidian Parlour—an inclusive, alternative nail space for the queer, neurodivergent, and creative. I’m all about bold, expressive nails using Gel X, BIAB, and custom art, with a focus on comfort and good vibes. When I’m not in the salon, I’m with my dogs Kayno and Junimo, playing video games, watching movies, or planning my next trip. I’m also crystal obsessed and love adding a little magic to everything I do.

Hey! I’m Ash, a nail artist with over 5 years of full-time experience and a soft spot for BIAB and detailed nail art that feels like tiny, wearable art. I’m a proud mum to my little boy, Miller, and when I’m not doing nails, you’ll find me camping, out in nature, or spending time with my family. I’m a Pisces, and I’m both autistic and ADHD—nails have always been a creative outlet and safe space for me, and I’m so excited to share that with you at OP.

Hey, I’m Jack, also known as The Mani Daddy! After 15 years as an award-winning beauty photographer, I’ve jumped into the family biz to bring my creative eye to nails. I’m Wagga born and raised, love gaming, camping, 3D printing, and travelling with my wife Taryn and our two pups. I’m also a YouTube streamer over at ChubbyPanda, where I share my love of games. Being autistic gives me a unique creative lens, and I’m pumped to bring fresh energy to Obsidian Parlour.

?? Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
No-shows and repeated cancellations/reschedules may result in a permanent ban from booking future appointments.

?? Card Details Requirement
All bookings must have valid card details attached within 24 hours of making the appointment.
*PLEASE NOTE* During our fresha to Timely transition the time period for confirmation will be extended to 48 hours. Updated 09/08/2025.
Cards will only be charged in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy.
Appointments without card details attached will be cancelled.

?? Nail Health Policy
If you intentionally rip off your nail enhancements more than twice, you may be banned from future services. This causes serious damage to your natural nails and impacts your service results.

?? Age Requirements
Clients must be 16 or older to attend appointments alone.
Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

?? Children
Due to the nature and environment of our salon, children under the age of 10 are not allowed to accompany you to appointments. We understand this can be inconvenient, but we must consider the inclusive environment we foster for our quiet clients. We appreciate your understanding. Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell with cold, flu, or other contagious symptoms.

Violent, aggressive, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind will result in an immediate ban.
